We are developing a game, which serves as a tool for collecting data used in research of people's trust in artificial intelligence.


How does it work?


  • Player is confronted with series of tasks and decision-making points.

  • The game features two virtual helpers who give advice to the player.

  • The helpers should evoke machines and communicate with the player verbally.

  • We use speech recognition and vocal synthesis module to mimick basic human conversation.

  • One of the helpers adapts to player's speech and the other one doesn't.

  • Voice of avatar which player trusts more is then considered to be more trustworthy.
